HDPE Flange

HDPE Flange

HDPE Flanges are used to create a specialized two-part joint between HDPE or Metal Pipelines. It creates a highly secure, bolt-on link between the pipeline components without putting any dangerous physical stress on the plastic pipe itself. They are used in collaboration with HDPE Pipe Ends for creating a leak-free and strong joint by slipping-on the flanges onto the pipe end. The adjacent flanges are then bolted together to create a strong and secured joint between the pipelines.

Gamson HDPE Flanges have a layer of iron sandwiched between the two HDPE layers. This provides the flange with the strength and durability of the metal while consequently protecting it from corrosion due to the protection from outer plastic layer.

Key Features

  • Slipped-On Sandwich Design: The flange easily slips onto the pipe end, utilizing an internal iron core locked between two HDPE layers to distribute bolting pressure evenly.
  • Metal Strength with Plastic Protection: The inner iron layer provides high-torque strength and long-lasting durability, while the outer plastic layer completely shields the metal from rust and corrosion.
  • Stress-Free Pipeline Linking: Connects plastic-to-plastic or plastic-to-metal components securely without warping, cracking, or placing dangerous physical strain on the main pipes.
  • 100% Leak-Free Bolted Joint: Creates a high-integrity seal when adjacent flanges are bolted together, ensuring a strong connection that holds up under heavy fluid flow.
  • Certified Quality Standards: Precision-manufactured to strictly match certified industrial engineering guidelines, ensuring perfect alignment during field installation.

Technical Specifications

Material ConstructionHigh-Strength Iron Plate sandwiched betweenvirgin HDPE outer layers
Manufacturing StandardsIS 8008, BS Table 10D or Equivalent Standards
Installation MethodSlip-on application over the pipe end followed by standard nut-and-bolt alignment
Main FunctionCreating high-pressure, bolt-on pipeline joints between HDPE or Metal lines
Corrosion ResistanceTotal protection against rust, moisture, and soil chemicals via the external plastic shell

Applications

  • High-Pressure Pipeline Jointing: Creating highly secure, removable connections between long stretches of main underground HDPE and metal water or chemical pipelines.
  • Industrial Fluid Networks: Linking distribution pipelines to heavy metallic pumps, valves, and treatment tanks without risking stress cracks at the joint.
  • Water Supply and Irrigation Mains: Joining large-diameter water lines in agricultural and municipal projects where high durability and leak prevention are critical.
  • Corrosive Soil Deployments: Installing heavy-duty bolted pipeline joints in wet, salty, or highly acidic soil environments where standard exposed metal flanges would rust and fail.
