Duct Rodder

Gamson offers a professional-grade Duct Rodder (also known as Cobra Rod or Conduit Rodder), the ultimate tool for underground cable pulling and duct cleaning operations. This high-tensile fiberglass rod is designed to navigate long-distance conduits and complex bends in telecommunications, electrical, and data networks. With its robust wheeled frame and high-flexibility rod, the Gamson Duct Rodder ensures that pulling ropes or light cables can be threaded through HDPE, PVC, and metal ducts with maximum efficiency and minimal friction.

Key Features

  • High-Strength Fiberglass Core: Constructed with a composite core reinforced with high-strength resins, providing an excellent balance of stiffness for pushing and flexibility for navigating bends.
  • Durable UV-Stabilized Jacket: The rod is encased in a wear-resistant, low-friction Polypropylene (PP) jacket that protects the fiberglass from abrasion and prevents "rod-splintering" in harsh environments.
  • Robust Steel Frame: Mounted on a heavy-duty, powder-coated steel chassis with large rubber wheels, allowing for easy transportation and stability across rugged construction sites.
  • Integrated Braking System: Features a manual hand-brake to control the payout speed of the rod, preventing accidental over-spooling and ensuring operator safety.
  • Precision Guiding Eye: Equipped with a solid brass or stainless steel pulling eye at the tip, designed to glide smoothly through ducts and provide a secure attachment point for pulling ropes.
  • Meter Marking: Most models come with permanent distance markings along the length of the rod, allowing technicians to accurately measure the distance of a run or locate a blockage within the duct.
